5 Tips that can help anyone who can’t wear heels look stylish. These tips are tried and tested and are some of the tips most frequently used by my clients.

There are may reasons why people can’t wearing heels- whether it is to improve mobility, balance or reduce pain. When people go from wearing heels to wearing flats they can often feel frumpy. A few simple tweaks can be all that is needed to adapt their style and start feeling fabulous again.

The tips are designed to enable the reader to use their existing clothing, although some clothes may need to be shortened for best results. Advice on the length of clothes is not given because this varies by person. The tips do give an ideas on what to look for in new footwear to look stylish.

The tips are designed for people who can walk independently, unaided or with a cane or a walker. While the first 4 tips are also suitable for those in a wheelchair, people in a wheelchair would benefit more from wheelchair specific advice.

These tips are generalities that will be relevant to most people who can’t wear heels. If you have specific concerns such as hard-to-fit feet or you are wearing a leg brace, you may not be able to use all the tips.

This resource is an ebook that is designed to be read on a screen. You will be sent a link from which you can download the book.

If you would like a hard copy for use in aged care or disability care facilities or support groups please contact me to arrange a copy.
